Connelia was restless in her sleep and she did not feel Dorkus near her as he was before.

Every night it was the same thing: she would have dreams that would bring back painful memories when she had to succumb to his punishments and demands. Sure she knew that Dorkus never physically beat her if she did anything wrong, but he did reprimand her for everything she did that "annoyed" him.

Connie got off the bus and walked back home. She had gone to the mall to browse some things in order to get her mind off of her and David's strange encounter. She felt herself grow exhausted and wanted nothing more but to relax.

As she approached her house, she saw none other than David, leaning against her front door, blocking her way. Instead of telling him to move, she cautiously approached him. "You again?" David looked up at her and smiled lightly. "Hello, Connie. Before you walk off, I have to show you something." He got up from his leaning position.

Connie's alarm went off. "Ugh…maybe taking a late night stroll wasn't such a good idea…" she said as she slammed her hand on the clock to stop beeping. After a quick bite she went outside to sit on a bench that was near a bus stop. She was too tired to notice that David was sitting near her.

David had come out for the same reason she had: fresh air. As he turned to look at her he realized the same thing that Morbus had when he first met her; she was so unlike the other women he had come across for many a time.

Realize the waves are rough and that life is tough

White like a stone, blue tints like a river
On a sunlit day I may heat up,

I can be considered too cold for the tough,
Too cold to avoid the frostbite, to avoid the pain.
The weak and the strong try to master me, to bear and to fight my frozen surface.
But not even the seas can bear my faults,

I fell down, down, further into the shivering water,
Blue like the night sky.
The mountains are full of me,
The icecaps crave me,

The little light I give, the darkness I crave
Every night and every moment, every time of release
It starts from my eyes with a short departure,
A trickle from above seeps south my face, like a river washing over the land.
Given time, more drops will come,
My eyes will play as clouds as the tears play like rain.

These are tears, many of them,
They can come from sadness, they can come from joy.
The river flows down from my eyes, the clouds,
Onto the land, my face,
